The Vrael Olo Reports

With Season 3 underway for The Broken Forest, both groups are now heavily involved with the Vael Olo. This secret society looks to save the region by finding a way to control the corruption and turn it back on its master. They have eyes and ears all over the region gathering information. Here are a few excepts but more can be found in the link below:

Bloodfang Tribes

From years of genetic inbreeding and exposure to harsh climates, both specimens are prime examples of their kin. Both decorated with symbolic imagery on their skin providing a visual marker to their allegiances. From surface reports, both factions were once part of the same tribe and internal and analysis of their respective corpses corroborate this. There are however anomalies within the Nightstalker subject, possibly due to leyline exposure. Mutations observed match with server exposure but the locations within the stomach and brain point to signs of digestive exposure, rather than ambient. This may also explain their aggressive behaviors when captured, compared to that of the Razorback tribe. The latter specimen shows minimal exposure, possibly due to their more xenophobic tenants, which self-sustains their lack of exposure. During interviews and trials, the Razorback specimen was more conducive to our wishes but lacked the physical and hormonal capabilities of the younger and impressively aggressive subject. On a side note, through observed interactions, it is believed that both subjects were possibly parent and child and were only reunited through our tireless efforts to control the Corruption.

Colidelleran Alliance

As children, we were told never to trust the Fae. Our parents told us about them in tales before we rested over fires and warm drinks. We were supposed to be scared out of leaving Yuirwood until we were ready, and they were one of the many ‘monsters’ that would try to harm us. Of course, like most things in my village, someone in the past was slighted, and their prejudices were passed down to us. As my ancestors reforested the devastated landscape and life returned. The leylines attracted the Fae, as leylines run through thesis, linking the realms in some way. They were supposedly already large in numbers, but with their alliances with the Shadowhoof Harass and now with the reclusive Gyrlass Druids, if they were to turn on Yuirwood, from my fleeting observations their odds are in their favor. I am now, however, running low on medication needed for exposure to Ley magic. My exposure levels are far greater than anticipated and from what little intelligence I was able to gather beforehand, the Fae’s ‘experimentation’ into leylines may have resulted in a level 3 Breach Event but there has been no geological activity nor mutations within the local flora and fauna. They have got to be hiding somewhere in this forest. I know from initiation leylines to do not act this way, they are interfering with them, but where?

There will be no Skulls and Sails tomorrow as Telsa will be in London for Dragonmeet. We hope to see you guys and gals there. If not, may all your criticals be twenties and we’ll hopefully see you Sunday for more Broken Forest.
